Gurman: Apple is planning M2 Mac mini, M2 Extreme Mac Pro

In the latest edition of Bloomberg Power On, Mark Gurman outlined Apple’s future product path.

On the Mac side, Mark Gurman mentions the new Mac mini with the M2 and M2 Pro chips, the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M2 Pro and M2 Max, and the new Mac Pro with the M2 Ultra and new “M2 Extreme” chips. Mac Pro with the M2 Ultra and new “M2 Extreme” chips.

After the M2 chip, Apple will introduce the 13-inch MacBook Air with the M3 chip, the new 15-inch MacBook Air, the new iMac, and a new 12-inch model.

Apple is also planning a new Apple TV with an A14 chip and 4GB of memory, a new HomePod and Apple Watch Series 8 with an S8 chip, a possible AR/VR device with an M2 chip and 16GB of memory, an iPad Pro model with an M2 chip, a new low-end iPad with an A14 chip and USB-C, a new AirPods Pro, and more. Gurman said the new HomePod will be closer in size to the original and feature an updated display on top of the speaker.

Gurman also expects Apple to release a larger iPad, measuring 14 inches to 15 inches, within the next two years.
