Griffith EV, the TVR performance sports car is currently in development

TVR is rebuilding it's fuel-driven sports vehicle but this time it will make it electric, the Griffith EV is currently in development.

TVR is planning and working toward launching the Griffith EV, which they stipulate will be ready by 2024. This vehicle will succeed the original Griffith, which launched in 2017. Ever since then the company has gone quiet, now we seem to be hearing their electric engines roaring.

This vehicle will not stray too far from the design language of its predecessor. Major changes might occur under the hood, I’m performance and ergonomics. The coming Griffith EV proves the company’s readiness to switch to an all-electric product line.

On their official website, TVR has shown off a bit of what to expect from this vehicle. All they gave is a picture of this coming EV sports car, we now imagine what this vehicle will pack in terms of performance. The design like we stated earlier isn’t so different from the 2017 sports car from TVR.

Yes, the difference isn’t much, but we can feel that electric vibe that the image brings. The company is now working with its partners to bring this EV to life. The vehicle’s designing, engineering, and building process will happen in the UK.

This means that majority of these vehicle components will come from suppliers within the European Union member states. This brings business opportunities to the likes of SK Innovations, LG Chem, Northvolt, and CATL. Either of these suppliers or any other European EV battery supplier will join hands with TVR to work on the Griffith EV.
