At the 2022 Overseas Dealer Conference held on December 2, Great Wall Motor announced the latest global brand strategy and the “ONE GWM” global brand action plan.
The Great Wall Motor stated that based on the new strategy, the company will focus on the GWM brand, formulate different development paths based on the characteristics of the five major brands, and comprehensively go overseas, and combine different countries and regions with the market and industrial policies to differentiate the layout of new energy products.
At present, Great Wall Motors has five major brands: Haval, Tank, Great Wall Pickup, Weipai, and Euler. Overseas, Great Wall Motors stated that it will expand the sales scale and value around Haval and Great Wall pickups, and build new category awareness around tanks, Wey brand, and Euler.
In 2022, Great Wall Motors will achieve the milestone of accumulative overseas sales of 1 million vehicles, and officially release the GWM brand in Brazil, Malaysia and other markets. According to reports, Great Wall Motors will create global models represented by the third-generation Haval H6, Haval Jolion, Great Wall Pao, Ora Good Cat, etc. in overseas markets.
In the field of new energy, Great Wall Motor has established a parallel technology development line of hybrid, pure electric and hydrogen, and the accumulated R&D investment will reach 100 billion yuan by 2025.
