Developers have taken advantage of OpenAI’s GPT-4 large language model, launched yesterday, to allow them to create an iPhone app using SwiftUI. The main function of the app is to recommend 5 new movies, new trailers, and where to watch the movie every day.

In a new tweet, developer Morten Just demonstrates how GPT-4 uses Apple’s SwiftUI programming language to create iPhone apps.
In the tweet, the developer sends GPT-4 the command “Hey, GPT-4, make me an iPhone app that recommends 5 new movies, trailers, and links to watch them every day”.

Developer Morten Just followed up with 2-3 bug fixes, and GPT-4 created an app that fully meets the developer’s requirements.
