Google today for Android developers, launched codenamed Giraffe Android Studio integrated development environment (2023.3.1) update.
Google Mayank Jain talked about the update, and IT Home translated part of the announcement as follows:
We're excited to announce today the stable version of Android Studio Giraffe, the official IDE that developers can use to build Android apps.
In Android Studio Giraffe, we've upgraded the IntelliJ platform to version 2022.3, which brings a new visual appearance, improved Live Edit, optimized animation previews, the introduction of a new device explorer, a new SDK upgrade assistant, and the use of Kotlin DSLs in Gradle build scripts, among other things.
Android Studio’s “New UI” is still in preview, and Google says the goal of the new interface is to create a modern, cleaner look and feel by reducing visual complexity, improving ease of use, and invoking complex features only when needed.
