Google Pixel Watch start pushing May 2023 update

In addition to the May 2023 security update for Pixel smartphones, Google has also rolled out a May 2023 update for Pixel Watch watches. Although the update has been released today, Google has said that it will be rolled out “in phases over the next week”. The update, internal version number RWDA.230114.013, doesn’t add any major features but does provide updated security for those using the wearable device.

The Google Pixel Watch help page says “The May 2023 software update includes the latest security patches for Pixel Watch users. Google is expected to bring more new features to the Pixel Watch at Google I / O 2023 next month.

The update supports OTA push, and users can also try to see if the update is available by going to the Settings menu, System and System Updates.

Google Pixel Watch first appeared at Google I / O 2022 in May 2022 and was officially launched in October of the same year for $349.99 with a round dial and unique strap attachment axis, Wear OS 3.5 powered by Google services and third-party apps, and support for Deep Fitbit integration; 294mAh battery with 24 hours of use on a single charge and fast charging support that can be charged to 50% in 30 minutes.
