Google won’t stop at just the Pixel Watch, according to leaks, there might also be a Google Pixel Watch Fit in the works. Unlike the Wear OS device, we spoke of in a previous article, this second smartwatch from Google is a fitness tracker. By the term “fitness tracker” this device comes on par with other devices like the Garmin VivoSmart 5 fitness tracker.

There is no current leak as to the design of the Google Pixel watch fit, whether it’ll use a circular design like the pixel watch or it’ll opt for a rectangular design. We already know what the Pixel watch looks like, a round display, slim bezels and so on. But will the Google fitness tracker use a rectangular design as most other fitness trackers do, to not get in the way of users while working out? We can’t exactly tell.

The leak regarding this device simply state that production of the Google Pixel watch fit is taking place in Vietnam. We confirm the name of the smartwatch from that leak, and we can be sure that it isn’t pointing to the Pixel watch since that device already has a licence. So, not much is out regarding the fitness tracker, but like every other fitness tracker, it will provide core workout modes and health features. It will also run Wear OS, we can be sure of that as well.

The possible pricing of this device is also out, and it sits at a rather expensive price point. At $400 it comes in close pricing to devices like the Apple Watch 6, and the Apple Watch 7. It is even much more pricey than the most expensive watch from Fitbit’s collection. At this price point, we should be expecting the best specs that the smartwatch market can offer. We expect to see the Google Pixel Watch Fit grace the Google I/O event next month when it’ll launch alongside other amazing devices.
