According to reports, Google Pixel Fold will be launched at the Google I/O conference in May, and Google plans to use the “most durable hinge” device in the folding screen smartphone market as a selling point.
The Google Pixel Fold will feature a 7.6-inch internal display (the same as the Galaxy Z Fold4), which can be opened like a book, is waterproof and has a battery life of up to 24 hours.
The report also mentioned that most of Google’s Pixel devices are relatively cheap, but due to the cost of the display and hinge, the price of Pixel Fold will be high. Google is already tweaking Android for foldable devices, and CNBC says the Pixel Fold will allow it to better showcase the Google-made foldable phone experience.
