Qi2 is a new unified wireless charging standard developed by Apple and WPC. It is based on the MagSafe technology, the core of which comes from the magnetic power distribution map provided by Apple. Qi2 can help align the phone to the wireless charging coil with the magnetic suction function to improve the wireless charging efficiency and reduce additional losses and is expected to allow Android camp to support MagSafe peripheral products. According to some sources, Apple iPhone 15 / Pro series will support Qi2 wireless charging specifications.
