Google previously announced that it will hold a news conference at 23:00 GMT on October 6, to launch the Pixel 7 / Pro series of cell phones and Pixel Watch smartwatch and a number of new accessories. The Pixel 7 / Pro series phones will be equipped with the Tensor G2 processor.

According to WinFuture’s Roland Quand, both models of Google’s Pixel 7 series will only be available in two storage sizes, with a maximum of 256GB and a minimum of 128GB, and the Pixel 7 series will not support expandable storage via MicroSD cards. Quant said this may be because Google wants users to use its cloud services. In terms of shipping time, the Pixel 7 series phones are expected to start shipping within 2 weeks of their release.

For reference, Google’s previously announced Pixel 6 series also has 128GB and 256GB storage options, but the Pixel 6 Pro also has 512GB storage options to meet user demand. In addition, on September 8, Apple announced the iPhone 14 series, with the iPhone 14 Pro series offering up to 1TB of storage space.

The difference is that this year’s Pro model telephoto sensor was changed to Samsung GM1.

In addition, the Google Pixel 7/7 Pro has already passed the FCC certification, which shows that it supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth and NFC capabilities. Previously, the Google Pixel 7 series will have a 2K flexible screen, according to the news.
