Several weeks ago, Google Pixel 7 Pro prototype was listed on eBay and gave a real look at how the device is. And interestingly a further look of Pixel 7 Pro looks has broken through the internet in many angles. Also, an early boot logs also revealed some interesting hint on another important.

Interestingly, judging by the prototype shown. It is identical as the official render. Which is proving that the design is really something to be awed.

The flashing also revealed some hint about specification about the devices, such as the memory and storage supplier.

And it is revealed that the Pixel 7 Pro will use new technology for the display made by Samsung, specifically, Samsung S6E3HC4 which gives a bump to brightness at 600 nits for manual brightness mode and 1000 nits at high brightness mode. It is backed by LTPO tech which gives adaptive refresh rate capabilities which vary from 10-120 Hz. Although many OEMs already achieved 1-120 Hz in their refresh rate capabilities. The screen resolution will be a sports QHD+ display.

As for the processors part, the 2nd-gen Tensor will be using ARMv8 architecture instead of the new ARMv9 architecture. The core will be powered by Cortex-A55 and have a 4+2+2 core layout. Unlike every other android semiconductor (Qualcomm, Samsung, and Mediatek) which already uses the Cortex-X2 series. The 2nd-gen Tensor will be expected to be more energy-efficient compared to Cortex-X2.

The software will run with the upcoming Android 13 with a fresh look on stock Android, like Google always provide for every Pixel users.

As for release dates, it should be slated around Autumn 2022(rumored)

The device shares some key details in terms of the codename. Cloudripper is known as the development board in this part. The devices are labeled with a name called Panther for Pixel 7 and Cheetah for the Pixel 7 Pro and Felix for the upcoming Pixel 7a variant. Ravenclaw is possibly for the Google Pixel 6 Pro with GS201 for the testing section. Further details is still on the investigation. So it is best to wait for the official confirmation.
