Google Project Zero security team recently found 18 vulnerabilities in the Samsung modem, including the Pixel 6 series, Pixel 7 series, Samsung Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy A53 and other models are using the modem.

According to the report, among the 18 vulnerabilities discovered this time, 4 vulnerabilities were rated as “critical”. Without user interaction, the attacker can remotely destroy the mobile phone as long as he has the victim’s phone number.
Google said it fixed the problem for Pixel phones in a security update released in March this year, but foreign technology media 9to5Google pointed out that Google has not fixed the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a phones.

Samsung branded phones: Galaxy S22, M33, M13, M12, A71, A53, A33, A21, A13, A12 and A04 series
Vivo-branded phones: mobile devices including the S16, S15, S6, X70, X60, and X30 series
Google phones: Pixel 6 series and Pixel 7 series
Any wearable device using Exynos W920 chipset
Any vehicle using the Exynos Auto T5123 chipset
