Google today started pushing the Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3.2 update, bringing more improvements to Pixel phones, with a focus on connection fixes.
Google states that this update is for specific devices, which means you must currently have an eligible device running Android 13 QPR3 Beta. If your device is running a different version of the operating system, such as Android 14 Beta, you will not see this update and will not be able to access it.
This update introduces no obvious new features, but it brings a lot of fixes, many of which focus on connection issues within the operating system. Be reliable and ensure that the OS can detect the SIM card regularly to prevent service disconnection and false activation.
A complete list of repairs is as follows:
Fixed a system UI input sync issue that caused windows to stop receiving touch input or receive touch input in the wrong place.
Fixed an issue that could cause calling over Wi-Fi to disconnect unexpectedly.
Fixed an issue that could prevent the SIM card from being detected or activated correctly during phone setup.
Fixed an issue where a device might fail to register with IMS over Wi-Fi when it leaves LTE coverage and enters Wi-Fi coverage.
Fixed an issue that caused unexpected drops in cellular connection speed or reliability.
If you are currently running Android 13 QPR3 Beta, you will see this update, and users can also go to the “Settings” – “System” menu, then go to the “System Update” section to download and install the update manually. If you have a Pixel 6 series device from Verizon, you will get the build number T3B3.230413.009 /.A1 update, and T3B3.230413.003 for all other devices.
It should be noted that if you have a brand new Pixel 7a phone, you will not be able to download this update at this time.
