Global ODM / OEM TV shipments reached 45.4 million units in the first half of 2022, up 0.5 percent year-over-year but down 8 percent from the first half of 2019 before the new crown outbreak, according to Taiwanese media outlet Electronic Times.

Among TV manufacturers, TPV Technology ranked first with 6.5 million units shipped in the first half of 2022, up 0.2 percent year-over-year, primarily due to Eastern European shipments of orders from Sony and Xiaomi.
MOCAP ranked second with 6.0 million units shipped, up 32 percent year-over-year. Changhong shipped 3.8 million units, up 14 percent year-over-year, while Tsinghua Tongfang shipped 3.5 million units, down 20 percent year-over-year, mainly due to a reduction in orders from Xiaomi.
