Gigabyte recently launched the UD-A620I-AX motherboard with the entry-level AMD A620 chipset, supporting Ryzen 7000 series processors, which is the industry’s first Mini-ITX size motherboard with this chipset.
Foreign technology media VideoCardz reported that manufacturers such as ASUS, MSI, ASRock, and Biostar will also launch Mini-ITX motherboard models with AMD A620 chipsets in July.
The AMD A620 chipset does not support processor overclocking and PCIe 5.0, does not support high TDP processor models, and supports up to Ryzen processors rated at 65W.
The UD-A620I-AX motherboard is aimed at the entry-level market, with two DDR5 memory slots, and a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for graphics.
The board features two SATA III connectors as well as 24-pin and 8-pin power connectors, built-in Wi-Fi support, a 2.5G network card, and an M.2 slot for NVMe drives.
