GIGABYTE, a manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards and hardware solutions, announced that the Instant 6GHz technology designed for Intel® Core™ i9-13900K and Core™ i7-13700K has been decentralized to the Z690 platform. Users of this platform only need to upgrade the BIOS version and enable related options to overclock these two processors to 6GHz, and single-core performance can be increased by up to 3%.
Gigabyte’s Instant 6GHz technology was previously exclusive to the Z790 platform, helping users unleash the performance of the Intel® Core™ i9-13900K and Core™ i7-13700K processors in an easier way, and now users of the Z690 platform can also gain this ability.
According to Gigabyte, Z690 motherboard users can enable the Instant 6GHz function after upgrading the BIOS. When enabled, the system can automatically adjust CPU voltage and Vcore loadline calibration for Intel® Core™ i9-13900K and Core™ i7-13700K processors to detect the optimal core running at 6GHz.
