German air cab developer Lilium Air Mobility said it has completed tests of an air cab that can reach a top speed of 250 kilometers per hour.

The company said after posting a teaser on social media that the Phoenix 2 vehicle had reached its threshold speed at a flight test center in southern Spain.
Lilium said it hopes to replace road trips or short trips with an airplane or helicopter in the competitive electric vehicle market.
The company plans to design the air cab for a cruising speed of 250 km/h or 155 km/h.
