General Motors recently issued a press release stating that by 2026, all electric vehicles produced using the Ultium platform will support the vehicle-to-home (V2H) two-way charging function.
The so-called two-way charging technology is to use the existing household power grid to charge the car, and reverse power supply during power outages at home or during peak periods of electricity consumption to meet household electricity demand.

Here is the first batch of models that support two-way charging:
2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST
2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1
2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV
2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV
2024 Cadillac LYRIQ
Cadillac ESCALADE IQ
It is unclear whether the Ultium-based Chevrolet Bolt will support V2H technology.
In addition, it should be noted that GM owners need to purchase one of the following three hardware bundles in order to realize the two-way charging function in order to realize the energy transmission between the vehicle and the home.
Ultium Home V2H Bundle
Ultium Home Energy System
