Geely Technology said that since August 2022, when it first announced its self-developed flying car project and full-size technical verification aircraft, the AE200 has been advancing at full speed in product development and airworthiness certification, etc. In November 2022, it obtained the first national manned pure electric vertical take-off and landing manned aircraft type qualification acceptance notice; in December 2022, it completed the key system test platform In December 2022, all flight tests were completed; in December 2022, the AE200 X01 aircraft was assembled and rolled off the production line; on January 17, 2023, the first flight test of the AE200 X01 aircraft was successfully completed.
AE200 is a 5-seat purely electric vertical take-off and landing manned vehicle (flying car) developed by Wofei Changkong. It is aimed at urban areas and intercity travel scenarios, with high performance, high safety, high comfort, to meet the diverse needs of urban clusters / intercity travel, with a wealth of application expansion capabilities.
