The maximum range on full fuel and full battery will exceed 2,000 kilometers. This technology will be launched for the first time this year. It is reported that Geely’s latest generation hybrid engine has a thermal efficiency of over 46% and plans to mass-produce it next year.

It is noticed that Geely launched the Thor electric hybrid engine BHE15 Plus in February last year, which achieved a mass production thermal efficiency of 44.26% and was first used in the “Geely Galaxy” model. Officials stated at the time that the next-generation Thor electric hybrid engine, with a thermal efficiency exceeding 46%, was in the verification stage.
For reference, Geely Galaxy L7 is equipped with a 1.5T Thor electric hybrid 8848 system (including Thor electric hybrid engine BHE15 Plus + Thor electric drive), equipped with a 3-speed DHT Pro intelligent electric drive gearbox composed of P1+P2 dual motors, and supports ejection start , acceleration from zero to 100 kilometers in 6.9 seconds, WLTC fuel consumption of 5.23L per 100 kilometers, CLTC comprehensive range of 1370km, and supports fast charging.
The Geely Galaxy L7 engine has a maximum power of 120kW and a maximum torque of 255N·m; the electric motor has a peak power of 107kW and a maximum torque of 338N·m; the comprehensive system power is 287kW and the comprehensive torque is 535N·m.
