Geely Automobile said yesterday, the 2023 annual sales target is 1.65 million units, of which new energy sales doubled compared to 2022.

According to Geely Automobile’s 2022 financial report, the company achieved cumulative sales of 1,432,988 units in 2022, up 8% year-on-year; operating income of 148 billion yuan, an increase of 45.6% year-on-year, a record high; new energy vehicle sales increased 300%, and the sales ratio increased from 6.2% in the same period last year to 22.9%; export sales ratio increased to 13.8%, up 5.1 percentage points. Net profit increased by 8.5% year-on-year to RMB5.26 billion and total cash increased by 20.4% to RMB33.7 billion, a record high.
In 2022, Geely’s sales revenue per vehicle was RMB103,000, up 29.6% year-on-year, and the average gross profit per vehicle was RMB17,500, up 11.1% year-on-year. The highest monthly sales will reach 30,000 units, and the average selling price of a single vehicle will reach 150,000 RMB.
Sales of Linkage reached 180,127 units in 2022, with cumulative sales exceeding 850,000 units as of February 2023. The Krypton brand delivered 71,941 units in 2022, exceeding its annual target of 70,000 units.
Geely Automobile data that for the whole year of 2022, Geely Automobile’s new energy products (including Geely, Geometry, Link, Extreme Krypton, and Rui Lan) sold 328,727 units, an increase of over 300% year-on-year.
In terms of intelligent driving, Geely focused on the layout of L2+ and L3 intelligent driving technology, the new generation of “NOA advanced intelligent driving assistance system” has been applied to Bo Yue L, and will be applied to Link and Geely’s latest products. In June 2022, the first nine stars of the “Geely Future Mobility Constellation” were successfully launched into orbit, and the network of 72 low-orbit satellites will be completed in the future.
