According to foreign media SamMobile, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 folding screen phone will support Samsung DeX, making it the smallest Galaxy phone that supports DeX.
Samsung DeX is a tool that allows users to turn Samsung phones and tablets into workstations with a PC-like interface. This desktop usage also supports wireless or HDMI projection to an external display, such as a Smart TV or monitor, as well as connecting standard input devices such as a mouse and keyboard.
Samsung currently offers DeX apps for Windows and macOS, and users only need to use a USB-C data cable and a Galaxy phone to use it.
Foreign media said that it is unclear whether the old Galaxy Z Flip phone can be upgraded to support Samsung DeX.
