Galaxy Fold A series; a budget foldable device might be in the works

Samsung Galaxy Fold A series might just be a new entry into the foldable market. As we all know for some years now, Samsung has had a firm grip on the foldable market. But the entry of new foldable devices from other companies like Honor, Vivo, and, OPPO has put Samsung’s monopoly of the foldable market to the test.

Most of these new entries most of the time are more affordable than the Galaxy Z Fold’s and use a better hinge. For Samsung, there is a need to regain control of the foldable smartphone market at every level. According to our source, Samsung plans to launch a more affordable foldable device under the A-series lineup.

Galaxy Fold A series

This coming affordable Galaxy Fold A series will not launch anytime soon. Possibly, we will see the launch of this device in about two or three years from now. Its launch will enable put Samsung foldable into more hands since its pricing will significantly reduce as against the current foldable from Samsung.

Maybe this will give Samsung leverage against other foldable manufacturers that price their foldable devices below Samsung’s set price tag. Since demand for foldable smartphones is growing, a budget folding device will make impressive sales in the foldable smartphone market. The form factor of this coming foldable device isn’t clear yet, whether it’ll be a Fold or Flip device. Certainly, Samsung will have to cut corners to make this coming Galaxy Fold A device a reality.
