GAC EAN announced that 100 AION Y Plus in Guangzhou Nansha port is ready to go, the first batch of export vehicles with the shipment of Thailand Linchaban port, this is the first time that GAC AION to the overseas market to ship the whole car.
AION that the AION Y Plus model is a right-hand drive overseas version tailored for the Thai market and has been certified by the Thai Department of Land Transportation (DLT). In June this year, GAC AION signed a memorandum of cooperation with the first dealer in Thailand, officially announcing its entry into the Thai market.
In July, a delegation from Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) paid a return visit to GAC AION, and both sides held in-depth discussions on localized production and investment.
It is worth mentioning that the 2023 AION Y Plus was launched in April this year, with a price range of RMB 119,800-153,800 yuan. The car’s appearance has not been adjusted much, length, width and height are 4535/1870/1650mm, the wheelbase is 2750mm; the maximum power of the motor is 100/150kW, the maximum torque is 176/225kW, and the built-in battery is 51.9/61.7/69.98kWh, with a range of up to 610km.
