In appearance, the appearance design of Trumpchi GS4 MAX (parameters | inquiry) emphasizes the Kirin shape and adopts a matrix Qingyun ladder grille design. The LED headlights use a new lighting unit with an illumination distance of up to 150m, making the illumination range wider, brighter and farther. In addition, the new car offers four nano-scale color-changing pearlescent paints: Starry Night Black, Haoyue Grey, Super Star Silver and Snowy White.
Viewed from the side, the vehicle has a tall and slender shape, with stretched body lines and cut profiles that create a strong sense of muscle. All models are equipped with hidden door handles as standard. The rear adopts Changhong through-type LED taillights, and the double-layer light strip shape is quite recognizable. At the same time, designs such as the hollow rear spoiler and rear diffuser make the car sporty. In terms of body size, its length, width and height are 4685/1901/1690mm, and the wheelbase is 2750mm.
The interior of Trumpchi GS4 MAX is based on the modern minimalist design concept and provides two interior themes: Morning Milk Coffee is a homely and healing interior color combination, while Maroon Walnut creates a sense of calmness and luxury in terms of visual appearance. The new car is equipped with the ADiGO SPACE super-sensory interactive smart cockpit and a 14.6-inch giant screen technology, which supports intelligent AI voice control and full-scenario multi-mode interaction. It can be spoken with 100% visibility, and the voice supports viewing pictures and speaking words. GAC Rubik’s Cube covers multiple official scenarios such as baby, home, quiet, and work, and supports user customization. With a voice command, multiple car controls and entertainment operations in the cockpit can be completed.
All Trumpchi GS4 MAX series come standard with a panoramic canopy with electric sunshades. The interior of the car is spacious and equipped with zero-pressure comfortable seats. The fabric is made of specially developed fine leather materials. The main driver’s seat can be electrically adjusted in 6 ways, and the front seat cushions/backrests can be heated. The rear seat backrest is adjustable + folds flat to meet users’ diverse space needs. The conventional trunk volume is 638L, which can be expanded to 1586L after the second-row seats are folded down, with a maximum depth of 2 meters.
In terms of other configurations, the new car uses eight surrounding airbags: 2 front front airbags + 2 front side airbags + 2 through-type side curtain airbags + 2 rear side airbags, covering 10 positions in the entire car. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5TGDI+7DCT powertrain, of which the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 177 horsepower (130kW) and a peak torque of 270 N·m. The official announcement is that its fuel consumption under WLTC conditions is 6.8L/100km, and its NEDC fuel consumption is 6.4L/100km. The chassis uses front MacPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension, which can achieve a minimum turning radius of 5.4m and a performance of 78km/h. It is worth mentioning that the adaptive dynamic control system adopted by the new car integrates EMS, TCU, ESP, etc., providing a more sensitive and safer driving experience.
