GAC Honda and GAC Toyota also announced their new car delivery data for September.
Overall, GAC-Toyota achieved sales of 83,084 units in September.
- The Electrifield models are 28,221 units (Refers to Smart electric hybrid twins, intelligent plug-in twins, EV models, in simple terms, including oil hybrid / plug-in hybrid / pure electric), accounting for 34% of the total.
- Smart models 74,761 vehicles (equipped with T-Pilot intelligent driver assistance system models), accounting for 90% of the total.
- 35,484 units of three flagship models (sedan: Camry, SUV: Lambda, MPV: Sana), accounting for 43% of the total.
In addition, monthly sales of the compact SUV model Frontier exceeded 20,000 units, up 113% year-on-year, claiming another record high.
For reference, GAC Toyota achieved sales of 79,757 units last month, with sales of 19839 units of Frontier Lambda, up 116% year-on-year; and sales of 71,343 units in July, with two consecutive months of year-on-year increases.
The major automobile enterprises in September car sales (as of press time):
- Changan Automobile’s independent brand new energy vehicle sales exceeded 50,000 units, Avita 11 delivered 3,083 units.
- GAC AION delivered 51,596 new cars in September, a year-on-year increase of 72%; January-September cumulative sales of 350,986 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 93%.
- Li Automobile delivered 36,060 units in September, up 212.7% year-on-year.
- Wuling Bengo sold 24,650 vehicles in September, with cumulative sales of 126,174 vehicles.
- SAIC-Volkswagen’s ID. family ordered more than 20,000 units in September, of which the ID.3 model accounted for 15,000 units, and cumulative sales of the ID. family had exceeded 160,000 units by the end of September.
- Zero Run Auto delivered 15,800 units in September, with a total of 44,325 units delivered in the third quarter.
- Nio delivered 15,641 new vehicles in September, up 43.8% year-on-year, and 55,432 vehicles in the third quarter, up 75.4%.
- Xpeng Auto delivered 15,310 new vehicles in September, up 81% year-on-year.
- Hozon Auto delivered 13,211 units in September, with cumulative deliveries in the Thai market exceeding 10,000 units.
- SAIC Motor’s September new energy vehicle sales of 10,002 units increased 168% year-on-year.
- Vohya Auto delivered 5,010 units in September, up 99% year-on-year; cumulative sales from January to September increased by 102% over the same period.
- Skyworth Auto 2023 delivered 3,635 units in September and exported 1,420 units overseas, up 142% year-on-year.
- ArkFox Auto delivered 2,016 new vehicles in September, with cumulative deliveries from January to September totalling 14,501 units.
- HiPhi Y model delivered 1,556 units in September, up 52.4% from a year earlier.
- Geely’s September sales of 170,500 units, up 31% year-on-year, hit a record high.
