GAC Toyota announced the car sales data for May 2023 yesterday evening. The total sales in May reached 77,534 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 10.7%.

Judging from the data of electrified models that everyone is concerned about, GAC Toyota’s sales of electrified models reached 22,973 in May, accounting for nearly 30% of the total sales.

In addition, GAC Toyota’s sales of intelligent models reached 75,245 in May, a year-on-year increase of 16.6%, accounting for 97% of total sales.

At present, many manufacturers have announced the latest May results. The following is a summary of the car delivery/sales data of each brand in May as follows:
GAC Toyota sold 22,973 electrified vehicles in May, accounting for nearly 30% of the total;
BYD Auto's May sales were 240,220 units, a year-on-year increase of 97.63%;
GAC Aion sold 45,003 vehicles in May, a year-on-year increase of 114% and a month-on-month increase of 10%. The cumulative sales volume from January to May was 166,323, a year-on-year increase of 119%;
Li Auto delivered 28,277 new cars in May, a year-on-year increase of 146%
Hozon Automobile delivered 13,029 units in May, an increase of 18% year-on-year. Among them, 2042 units were delivered overseas, and 1716 units were delivered by Nezha GT;
Leapmotor delivered 12,058 units in May, an increase of over 38% month-on-month;
Zeekr Auto delivered a total of 8,678 vehicles in May, an increase of approximately 100% year-on-year;
Xpeng Motors delivered 7,506 new cars in May, an increase of 6% month-on-month;
Changan Deep Blue SL03 delivered 7,021 units in May;
NIO delivered 6,155 vehicles in May, down 7.6% month-on-month;
AITO Huawei series delivered 5,629 new cars, a month-on-month increase of 22.7%;
Voyah Auto delivered 3,003 new cars in May, a year-on-year increase of 231%.
