In 2022, GAC Group expects to achieve: automobile production and sales of 2.459 million units and 2.404 million units respectively, with year-on-year growth of about 15% and 12% respectively; aggregate operating income of 514.46 billion yuan, with year-on-year growth of about 19.7%; total profit and tax of 65.19 billion yuan, with year-on-year growth of about 13.2%, with production, output, revenue and profit all expected to exceed the annual challenge.
The company will strive to achieve the target of 4.75 million vehicles, 1 trillion yuan in revenue and 100 billion yuan in profit and tax in 2030 by focusing on 5 increments, 7 major segments and 8 major actions.
According to the report, GAC Group has been actively laying out mineral resources, GAC Energy Technology Company has been established and operating, and will invest more in energy and energy ecology in the future to establish a vertically integrated new energy industry chain layout of “lithium mine + basic lithium raw material production + energy storage and power battery production + charging and switching + energy storage” to further improve the power battery It will further improve the layout of upstream and downstream industry chain, reduce the cost of the industry chain, realize the overall independent control of the new energy industry chain, and at the same time develop energy storage business to improve the core competitiveness of GAC’s industry chain.
According to GAC Group, GAC’s independent brand “twin stars”, GAC Chuanqi and GAC EAN, will produce and sell more than 620,000 vehicles in 2022, of which 43% will be new energy vehicles. GAC EAN completed its share reform and Series A financing, with a post-investment valuation of over 100 billion RMB. The annual production and sales of GAC Toyota exceeded one million vehicles.
In addition, GAC Group revealed that the first vehicle equipped with Starling’s electrical and electronic architecture will be officially unveiled in 2023. GAC EAN will launch no less than 2 new models every year while accelerating the launch of its internationalization strategy and striving to exceed 1.5 million units in sales by 2030.
