According to the report, it was mainly due to the Group’s overcoming the impact of the shortage of automotive chip supply and rising raw material prices, the year-on-year increase in production and sales of self-owned brand models, and the corresponding increase in cost and scale benefits.
The report that in terms of sales, GAC Group will sell 2.4338 million vehicles in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 13.50%, of which new energy vehicles will sell 309,500 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 116.69%. In addition, GAC Group’s self-owned brand sales in 2022 will be 633,700 vehicles, of which new energy vehicle sales accounted for about 43%; joint venture brand vehicle sales will reach 1.8 million, a year-on-year increase of 5.89%.

At the 2022 Guangzhou Auto Show held at the end of last year, GAC Group released the 2030 “Trillion GAC 1578 Development Outline”, proposing to strive to achieve the goal of producing and selling more than 4.75 million vehicles, revenue of 1 trillion, and profits and taxes of 100 billion by 2030.
