GAC Aion officially released a new generation of high-end pure electric exclusive platform AEP 3.0 mass production version, named Hyper Tec. The platform has been fully upgraded on the basis of inheriting the “long battery life, large space, and high safety” of AEP 2.0, and will be the first to be installed on Hyper series models in the future.
Aion launched the AEP1.0 pure electric platform and AEP2.0 aluminum alloy pure electric platform in 2017 and 2019. The new generation of AEP3.0 high-end pure electric exclusive platform inherits the three advantages of long battery life, large space and high safety of AEP2.0 platform, and realizes all-round evolution on this basis. The new platform meets the five-star crash safety standards in China and Europe, reduces vehicle energy consumption by 15%, improves low-temperature battery life by 10%, and achieves a 78% common rate of parts.
According to the official introduction, the AEP 3.0 uses supercar-level electric drive technology, and its top speed can reach up to 300km / h, the rear-drive single-motor version is 4.9 seconds, and the four-wheel-drive multi-motor version can break 100 in 1.9 seconds. Through the original X-pin flat wire technology and intelligent multi-mode shifting system, the motor can always be in the most efficient operating range, which increases the starting torque and reduces high-speed energy consumption.
Track-level rear-wheel drive control has a low center of gravity, lightweight supercar body layout, and supports extended four-wheel drive. The AICS intelligent chassis system can perform dynamic matching control of torque, braking, suspension, etc. according to parameters such as wheel speed and turning angle, so as to achieve a turning radius of 5.3m, a 30% increase in steering sensitivity, and a reduction in cornering roll for a 3-meter wheelbase model. 40%, the braking per 100 kilometers is less than 35m.
At the same time, the AEP 3.0 platform has been comprehensively upgraded in terms of body structure, lightweight, energy consumption, low-temperature battery life, etc., and has made breakthroughs in higher dimensions.
In the future, the AEP 3.0 platform will be the first to be installed on the Hyper series models. As the first model on the platform, the Hyper SSR 0-100km / h acceleration time is only 1.9 seconds. Among them, the pre-sale price of Hyper SSR is 1.286 million yuan, and the pre-sale price of Hyper SSR Ultimate track version is 1.686 million yuan. It is expected to be officially mass-produced and delivered in October 2023.
