According to fuji rumors, the Fujifilm GFX 100 mirrorless medium format digital camera has been marked as discontinued in some Japanese e-commerce stores and listed as a special order on B&H Photo,
The camera was reportedly released in May 2019 and was identified at the time as a revolutionary product. The camera features a 100.2-megapixel back-illuminated medium format sensor measuring 43.8mm x 32.9mm, which is about 1.7 times larger than a 35mm full-frame sensor.
The Fujifilm GFX100 uses a “back-illuminated sensor” embedded with phase-discrepant pixels and has twice the autofocus speed of its predecessor GFX model. The GFX100 features in-camera image stabilization (IBIS) optical stabilization technology, which provides up to 5.5 stops of “5-axis image stabilization”.
The GFX100 is Fuji’s first mirrorless digital camera with an integrated vertical grip design, making it easy to shoot vertically. In addition, the Fujifilm GFX100 supports 4K30p video recording, as well as H.265 / HEVC codec and HDR video recording.
The camera features multiple displays, a 5.76-megapixel EVF electronic viewfinder with approximately 100% field of view and a 2.36-megapixel tri-fold 3.2-inch LCD display. the GFX100 has a 1.8-inch shoulder screen on the top panel and a 2.05-inch display on the rear panel.
