According to Fujirumors news, Sigma X-mount 18-50mm F2.8 will be available on November 14 or 15.

The 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN is an APS-C format lens launched by Sigma last year, with a constant large aperture of F2.8 and small size, currently available in E-mount and L-mount, and the price dropped to $2,899 during the double 11 periods.

The lens is described as having an equivalent focal length of 27-75mm and is versatile enough for all kinds of photos and videos, including landscapes, portraits, street sweeping, architecture and events. The lens has the closest focusing distance of just 12.1cm and offers a 1:2.8 magnification for macro photography. The Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN lens is highly specified, with a 10-group, 13-lens construction that features three high-precision glass-milled aspherical lenses and one SLD lens to minimize the total number of lenses used. The product supports body phase aberration correction to further eliminate optical defects such as distortion and flare. Officially, the lens is manufactured in the Aizu factory in Japan and is the smallest and lightest of its kind. The lens has a built-in stepper motor for quiet and fast focusing and is designed for internal focusing. The product supports various in-body high-speed focusing modes, autofocus, manual focus, and full-time manual focus (DMF). The lens mount is dust and splash-proof and features a 7-blade circular aperture and is compatible with SIGMA USB DOCK UD-11 for firmware upgrades.
