FreeYond F9 camera samples showcases camera prowess of FreeYond’s first smartphone

FreeYond is an all-new Chinese smartphone brand. The founder and CEO of the company, Yu Lei, is the former vice-president of Gionee. The FreeYond also includes several other former employees of Gionee. The company is now gearing up to launch its first smartphone, called the FreeYond Y9, in the Chinese market. Here at TechGoing, we bring you the first camera samples of the FreeYond F9.

Some of the key features of the FreeYond F9 include a large HD+ display with a teardrop notch. It has a large storage capacity and a 5,000mAh battery. The rear side of the device features a dual-camera setup featuring a macro camera and an unspecified main camera.

Here are some exclusive camera samples of the FreeYond F9:

About FreeYond

The team members of the FreeYond include Chang Shidan, former sales director of Gionee Group and CEO of the India branch; Qiu Zhimin, former financial director of Gionee Group; Yuan Xuanhua, former chief designer of Gionee Group; Gionee Group veteran , Li Jian, the former head of the Integrated Marketing Communication Center; Guo Xianqiu, the former head of the China business of TCL Communications, a veteran of the mobile phone industry, and the former vice president of Hexin Communications.

The global economy has been affected by various kinds of issues like the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and inflation. However, Yu Lei has an optimistic approach for FreeYond. He said that great companies in history were born in crises, such as Amazon and Google after the dot-com bubble in 2001; Twitter, Uber, Airbnb, and Okta after the 2008 financial crisis.

Yu Lei also took Geely Holding Meizu as an example to further explain, “Why Geely wants to acquire Meizu, why Tesla and NIO want to make mobile phones, this is because they have rediscovered smartphones. In 2025, there will be 100 billion units in the world.” New phone brands have already started entering the phone market. Geely, for example, has acquired 79.09 percent of Meizu and thus entered the mobile phone market. Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, left the company to launch Nothing. In July, the company launched its first smartphone.
