Modular notebook manufacturer Framework released the new Laptop 13 in May this year, equipped with R7 7840U and R5 7640U processors, and will be shipped in batches as early as the third quarter of this year.
Today, Framework announced that the new Laptop 13 supports a single 48GB of DDR5-5600 memory, and the two memory slots can be filled up to 96GB.
According to previous reports, a single 48GB DDR5-5600 laptop memory e-commerce platform is already on sale, but neither AMD nor Intel indicated that the latest mobile processor platform supports such memory.

The Framework Laptop 13 cooling system is capable of operating under continuous loads of up to 28W. The screen size is 13.5 inches, 3:2 ratio, 2256*1504 resolution, 100% sRGB color gamut, and 400 nits brightness. The laptop is 15.85mm thick and weighs 1.3kg.
The laptop body has four interface expansion positions, which can be installed with USB4, USB-A and other interfaces.
Framework’s official website shows that the Framework Laptop 13 with the Ryzen 7040U processor starts at $849.
