Foton announced March production and sales data flash, car sales of 68,600 units, compared with 60,956 units in the same period last year; 3,107 new energy vehicles, compared with 1,555 units in the same period last year. Vehicle production for the month was 68,040 units, compared with 62,779 units in the same period last year, while new energy vehicle production was 3,237 units, compared with 2,446 units in the same period last year.
From January to March, the total sales volume of automobiles was 160,237 units, up 14.44% year-on-year; the total sales volume of new energy vehicles was 6,996 units, up 118.69% year-on-year. The total output of automobiles was 149,807 units, up 5.45% year-on-year; the total output of new energy vehicles was 6,543 units, up 50.69% year-on-year.
It is learned from the flash report that Foton Motor’s first quarter van growth was 41.6% year-on-year; micro truck growth was 27.4% year-on-year; overseas growth was 23.5% year-on-year.
