EVGA, NVIDIA’s graphics partner, made a high-profile announcement in September last year that it was abandoning its graphics business, saying that the relationship had deteriorated due to “disrespectful treatment” by NVIDIA.
With the disappearance of the graphics business, EVGA product director Jacob Freeman announced his departure from the company on April 13, after 17 years at EVGA, where he was known to many users as one of the company’s “soul men”.
According to the latest news, Jacob Freeman has now joined Nvidia, jumping from one side of the conflict to the other.
Jacob Freeman says he is pleased to announce that he has joined NVIDIA as a GeForce Evangelist, a role in which he will continue to work with the PC gaming community, media and influencers to develop new programs and features in the GeForce ecosystem.
After EVGA abandoned its graphics card business, an official eBay auction was held for a prototype RTX 4090 FTW3 card, with the proceeds going to charity.

It is worth mentioning that EVGA KINGPIN overclocking graphics cards have been a competitor to Galax HOF OC LAB, and with EVGA abandoning the graphics card business, there is one less active player in the overclocking space.
