Forbes Releases Top 100 Cloud Computing List, OpenAI Ranks No. 1

Forbes joint Bessemer, and Salesforce two venture capital firms released the world’s best private cloud computing company list of the top 100 list.

According to the list, OpenAI topped the list for the first time in its history; big data giant Databricks came in second, up 33 spots from last year, overtaking financial giant Stripe, which is now in third place for the first time; and image processing platform Canva, headquartered in Sydney, Australia, came in fourth. Sixteen AI startups made the list, including Anthropic at No. 73 and Midjourney at No. 85. According to the data, 55 percent of this year’s Cloud 100 companies have already incorporated generative AI into their products. From OpenAI to Stripe, AI is “redefining” the cloud computing industry, Forbes said.
