There has been a lot of news about PS VR2 recently, but the physical object is still only on those official display pictures that Sony announced at the very beginning, and today a game studio called Bit Planet Games brought us the first real photos of PS VR2. From the photos, the headset body comes with a longer cable. One user asked if this would violate the NDA, and the studio said it would indeed violate the NDA if the photo was released six months ago.
Sony officially announced Sony’s PSVR second-generation headset Playstation VR2 and its specific parameters at the beginning of January this year. At a business briefing meeting last month, SIE president Jim Ryan said they had prepared at least 20 game titles for the PS VR2 launch, including first-party, and third-party ones. According to Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consulting, the new headset will go on sale next year and will use AMOLED screens.
