This is exactly what leaked images of the upcoming Motorola Razr smartphone codenamed Maven proves.
As shown in the images, Maven will bring some dramatic changes to the look of the RAZR device. Finally dropping off the “Hello Moto” flip phone design language, this upcoming RAZR will look more like a traditional flip phone. Here are a few takeaways from the leaked images.
These images show that the company is possibly eliminating the rear screen, as seen on the previous RAZR generations. Maven will come with two rear cameras that’ll move to the edge of the device and look like those seen on the Galaxy Flip. The change in the shape of this device proves that the chin previous Motorola Razr devices stock will be no more. Also, the notch on previous RAZR smartphones will be a thing of the past, as leaked images show a dot-in screen display.
Leaked Motorola Razr Maven specs
There is not much information as to the specs of this device, but a leak for our source gives some possible specifications. The processor claimed to be used on this device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. This will use 8GB/12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB worth of internal storage.
For the camera, there will be a dual camera setup as in the leaked images and a selfie camera. According to the leak, thus camera setup will house a 50MP main camera, with a 13MP macro camera. A 32MP selfie camera might come with this device. All specifications as listed above aren’t confirmed by Motorola, hence should be treated as a leak.
According to the leaker, this device will launch in China in late July or early August. A global launch will follow in the coming weeks. The pricing of this device might be similar to the Razr 5G.
