Google in February this year released Chrome 110 stable version of the update, and introduced to the NVIDIA RTX video super-resolution technology (VSR) support. Mozilla Internal is pushing forward the Firefox browser Firefox update and preliminary support for VSR technology.
The Mozilla Foundation and NVIDIA have not officially announced the integration of VSR technology, but internal sources with knowledge of the situation have revealed the progress, saying that it is still in the initial stage, and it will take some time for users to really get started.
To enable VSR in Firefox, go to your application settings and type about:config in the search bar. After that, in the Settings tab, you’ll need to find “gfx.webrender.super-resolution.nvidia”. resolution.nvidia” parameter and set its value to “True”.
Note: NVIDIA announced this new RTX Video Super Resolution (RTX Video Super Resolution) technology in the CES 2023 GeForce Beyond live broadcast, which can be called the DLSS in the field of video playback.
The RTX Video Super Resolution feature is described as using AI to improve the quality of any video viewed in a browser by removing blocky compression artifacts and increasing video resolution. The technology improves the sharpness and clarity of video, allowing online content to be viewed in its original resolution on high-resolution displays.
