Bandai Namco’s fighting game masterpiece “Tekken 8” will be released in the next fiscal year (before April 2024), according to the latest news from the game’s producer, “Tekken 8” confirmed to support cross-platform battles.

The person in charge of the Tekken series, Katsuhiro Harada, recently replied online that Tekken 8 will support Xbox and PlayStation cross-platform play. The company is also a member of the Board of Directors of the United States Department of Justice.

In addition, Katsuhiro Harada also confirmed that Tekken 8 has a rollback network code feature that minimizes the drawbacks of online latency through predictions and instant corrections, making the online matchmaking experience more similar to offline.
Bandai has also recently revealed a number of new details about Tekken 8, including confirmation that Nina Williams will be fighting, the removal of the Rage Drive mechanic, new special controls for beginners, and a heating system.

Tekken 8 will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
