Wu Bing, CEO of Feifan Motors, revealed through social media that the Feifan R7 will be launched in late September, and delivery is expected to start in late October.
Wu Bing said that because there are many smart technologies used on the Feifan R7 for the first time, he has been polishing the details of the product, hoping to bring a better experience to users.
SAIC announced in October 2021 that in order to accelerate the development of its own brand of mid-to-high-end smart electric vehicles, the company invested in the establishment of Feifan Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. SAIC Motor will separate the R brand of the passenger car branch, and Feifan will carry out market-oriented operations in an asset-light manner.
According to previous information, Feifan R7 is positioned as a high-end pure electric SUV, equipped with Snapdragon 8155 chip, standard Premium 4D imaging radar, and NVIDIA Orin super-computing intelligent driving chip, with 600+km battery life and up to 400kW peak power.
The Feifan R7 adopts a streamlined fastback shape and a sports car-level wide-body design. It is equipped with Trinity multi-dimensional sensory interactive smart cabin and the world’s first mass-produced Huawei Vision Enhanced AR-HUD head-up system. It adopts a 43-inch wide-format true color triple screen, including a 15.05-inch 2.5K AMOLED flexible center console display.
In addition, Feifan R7 adopts a frameless induction electric switch door, which integrates induction electric door opening and electric suction door. At the same time, the front and rear seats are wrapped in NAPPA leather, and the co-driver is independently equipped with electric leg rests and heated floor mats.
