Previous Samsung Galaxy S series flagships are part of the use of Qualcomm chips, and part of the use of Exynos chips. For example, the Galaxy S22 series of national versions uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8, and the European version uses Exynos 2200.

Previously, some users reported that the Exynos 2200 version of the Galaxy S22 series had bugs such as lagging and GPS failure, while the Snapdragon 8 version of the Galaxy S22 series did not have these problems, which may be an important reason for Samsung to abandon the use of the Exynos chip.
It is worth noting that this does not mean that the Exynos chip will be completely abandoned. According to the rumors, Samsung set up a dedicated chip team, jointly led by TM Roh, head of Samsung’s mobile division, and Park Yong-in, head of Samsung’s LSI division. This team will develop Exynos chips for Galaxy smartphones, which are expected to be commercially available in volume production in 2025.
