Xiaomi fans are eagerly waiting for the Xiaomi 12T Pro because it will be the company’s first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phone for the global market. It will be accompanied by the Dimensity 8100 Ultra-powered Xiaomi 12T. We have obtained exclusive information on the launch of the Xiaomi 12T series as well as the Redmi Pad.
TechGoing has learned that the Xiaomi 12T, 12T Pro, and Redmi Pad will debut globally not this month, but in October. This should put to rest rumors saying that these products will be announced this month. Unfortunately, we do not have the exact information on its date.
Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 12T Pro specifications (rumored)
According to previous reports, the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro are expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The 12T will get the Dimensity 8100 Ultra chip, while the Pro model will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The 12T Pro will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. There is no information on the exact battery size of the 12T, but it is likely to support 67W fast charging.
The Xiaomi 12T will have a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera on the back. The 12T Pro is expected to feature a 200MP camera instead of the 108MP snapper. Both phones will have a 20MP front camera and run on the MIUI 13-based Android 13 OS.
The 12T will arrive in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants, while the 12T Pro will be available in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB models. The 12T series will be available in Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, and Clear Blue.
Redmi Pad specifications (rumored)
The Redmi Pad will feature an 11-inch 2K LCD display and a 7,800mAh battery with 22.5W charging support. It will be powered by the upcoming MT8781 SoC by MediaTek. It will feature an 8MP rear camera. Some reports have said that the Redmi Pad could come with the Redmi Buds 4 Pro TWS earbuds.
