Earlier this year, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro smartphones in the first half of the year. Even though there were rumours that the company would also release the X90 Pro+, it looks like its release has been cancelled. Reports have claimed that Vivo’s next major launch event will be the Vivo X90 series, which is expected to go official in December. Earlier today, TechGoing spotted the key specifications of the Vivo X90. Now, we can bring you an exclusive report to reveal the specifications of the Vivo X90 Pro+.
Vivo X90 Pro+ specifications
The Vivo X90 Pro+ will arrive with a 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display with curved edges. It will carry support for a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will be equipped with a 1440Hz high-frequency eye protection dimming chip.

The X90 Pro+ will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Vivo will not be offering the device in a Dimensity chipset variant. It will be packed with a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The rear camera setup will feature a 50MP Sony IMX989V primary camera. The 1-inch camera sensor will be accompanied by a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens, a 50MP IMX578 portrait lens, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64A periscope zoom lens that offers 3.5x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom. The device will come equipped with the next-generation Vivo V2 ISP.
We do not have any information on the RAM and storage combinations of the X90 Pro+. Earlier reports, though, said that the device would have LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. We have some more exclusive information on the X90 and X90 Pro’s chipsets. Both phones will feature the Dimensity 9200, which is expected to debut in November.
