Exclusive: Vivo X80 Pro live images emerge before official announcement

Vivo will be launching the Vivo X80 series of smartphones on April 25 in China. The same event will also see the arrival of the Vivo S15e mid-range phone. A recent report by 91mobiles revealed the key specifications of the Vivo X80 Pro (China edition). Today, we at TechGoing bring you live shots of the Vivo X80 Pro.

Vivo X80 Pro real-life images

The Vivo X80 Pro live shots showcase the device in blue and orange. The device flaunts a huge camera module. The circular camera unit, which is placed inside, has three cameras and ZEISS branding. A periscope telephoto zoom lens is available outside the round-shaped camera housing.

The large camera block also houses an LED flash strip. While the front side of the device is not shown in the images, it is known that it is equipped with a curved edge display with a centrally positioned punch-hole.

Vivo X80 Pro specifications (rumored)

The Vivo X80 Pro rumors have revealed that it has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that produces a Quad HD+ resolution. The screen will carry support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It will come equipped with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform will power the device with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device is expected to arrive with 256GB / 512GB of storage. It will come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS and OriginOS UI.

The smartphone houses a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It will also have support for 50W wireless charging. The rear camera setup of the phone has a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.57 aperture, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP periscope zoom lens with 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom. The device may feature a 44MP or a 32MP front camera.
