Earlier this year, graphics card supplier EVGA announced a gaming desktop, abandoning the traditional chassis design, using a “suspension” open chassis design, the frame is made of carbon fiber material.
Now, the open host is available, with a built-in RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin, Z690 DARK Kingpin motherboard and 1600W T2 power supply for $4999.99 (about $33,749.93). The open chassis is sold separately for $1599.99 (about RMB 10,799.93).
The EVGA E1’s frame is designed to weigh 2.76 pounds (about 1253.04 grams), which is lighter compared to other cases of the same size, according to the report. The motherboard and center panel are suspended within the frame using cables and brackets, and the frame also holds a large power supply and cooling fan.
There are three dashboards underneath the chassis to indicate internal CPU and GPU temperatures, and a set of USB and audio ports below the dashboard.
The EVGA RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin is available in early July for $2,500 (about $16,775), and the EVGA RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin has a 360mm water-cooled GPU and a fan on the card to provide cooling for the onboard VRM.
In February, EVGA released the Z690 DARK Kingpin motherboard, officially a motherboard designed and used by professional overclockers. the Z690 DARK K|NGP|N motherboard retails for $830 (about Rs. 5253.9).
The motherboard is based on the E-ATX form factor with LGA1700 socket orientation and a large black metal backplate on the back to reinforce the PCB. the Z690 Dark K|NGP|N version includes two full-length PCIe 5.0 slots running at x16 and x8 / x8 and three PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots located under the front heatsink. In terms of ports, this motherboard comes with two 2.5G wired network ports and one USB 3.2 G2x2 Type-C port.
