According to Bloomberg, Epic Games has lost its appeal against Apple Inc. The Court of Appeal upheld the decision in favour of Apple, finding that Apple did not violate antitrust laws and was not a monopolist.

Epic Games began a long legal battle with Apple over App Store rules in 2020, sparked by the Fortnite game.
The court announced the outcome in 2021, finding that Apple had not violated the antitrust laws and was not a monopolist, but Epic Games appealed immediately, claiming that the trial court had “reached the wrong answer” and “committed numerous legal errors”. The court also said that the trial court had “reached the wrong answer” and “committed multiple legal errors”.
Citing Bloomberg, The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has rejected Epic Games’ claim that the App Store allegedly violated antitrust laws by not allowing third-party app stores to run, and has upheld the ruling.
