Employees revealed chaos in Tesla’s Berlin factory and some people took sick leave

According to reports, employees of Tesla’s Berlin super factory broke the news that the factory is “full of chaos” and there are many labor problems.

Currently, Tesla is trying to increase the production capacity of both the Texas Superfactory in the United States and the Berlin Superfactory in Germany. By any standard, the scale of these two factories can be described as “huge”. According to Tesla’s plans, both factories will have a total workforce of more than 10,000 employees.

According to one report, Tesla’s Berlin megafactory is currently “unable to recruit enough employees and is having difficulty retaining existing employees.

The report describes a situation in which Tesla is having problems declaring positions, retaining employees, and employee attendance.

One current employee, who requested anonymity for fear of losing his job, said there was “chaos” inside Tesla’s Berlin superfactory. Some people have been off sick longer than they actually work,” he revealed. Others, I’ve seen them work as little as three weeks in the last six months. Many people have called in sick because they are not motivated to work. Many employees blame the factory for poor working conditions. They claim that the departures include both temporary workers and veterans who have been working at this superfactory for more than a year before it officially opened.”

Some reports say Tesla currently has 7,500 employees at the Berlin plant, which currently has about 400 open positions.

Tesla has even started trying to fill open positions by hiring outside of Germany, with about 10 percent of workers at the plant coming from abroad, most of them from Poland. The Berlin superfactory is only about an hour’s drive from the German-Polish border.

Tesla is currently working to ramp up production of the Model Y, with a goal of producing 5,000 Model Ys per week, an ongoing goal that the company hopes to achieve by the end of the year.

In October, Tesla confirmed that it had achieved production of 2,000 Model Ys per week, but the company has not updated capacity since then.
