At CES 2023, Temperature Control mug manufacturer Ember said it plans to launch a new Travel Mug 2 + mug that supports Apple’s Find My app in Q2 2023.
This new feature will allow users to track the location of the Travel Mug 2+ in the Find My app, just like they can track iPhones, iPads, AirPods or other devices. The new mug will also have a built-in speaker that will beep to help users find it if it is misplaced. The other features and prices of the mug are the same as the existing Travel Mug 2, which is priced at $199.95 in the United States (about 1376 CNY).
Ember’s Temperature Control Mug is designed to keep the user’s coffee or other hot beverage at the desired drinking temperature for up to 3 hours, and if the mug is placed on the included charging coaster, it can be kept for one hour all day. The mug can be connected to an iPhone via Bluetooth and controlled via the Ember app, and the Travel Mug 2 also has built-in touch controls to set the preferred temperature between 48.9 and 65 degrees Celsius.
The new Travel Mug 2+ mug will eventually replace the existing Travel Mug 2.
